Welcome to Jodioo ("we", "our", or "us"), operated by the Jodioo Team. We are committed to protecting the privacy, intimate communications, and personal data of every couple who uses our application and website. This Privacy Policy describes how your information is handled, our zero-cloud storage model, our data retention timelines, and how you can exercise your full right to account and data deletion.
1. Information We Collect and Process
To provide a seamless, synchronized connection exclusively between two partners, we process minimal necessary data:
Account & Pairing Data
Your phone number or unique authentication identifier, display name, partner invitation code, and active couple linkage. Used solely to authenticate you and pair your device with your chosen partner.
Push Notification Tokens
Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) registration tokens to deliver incoming call alerts, new message notifications, and romantic reminders to your device.
On-Device Local Data
Chat text, wax-sealed love letters, voice notes, photos, couple bucket lists, and special anniversary dates are stored in encrypted form locally on your smartphone storage — not stored permanently on remote servers.
Transient Transit Payloads
When sending a message, photo, or love letter, encrypted packets pass through our secure relay server to reach your partner's phone. Once delivered, payloads are immediately purged from server transit memory.
2. Android App Permissions & Legitimate Purposes
In accordance with Google Play Developer policies, Jodioo requests only runtime and foreground service permissions strictly necessary for its features:
Purpose: Allows user-initiated real-time VoIP voice and video calls between partners. Keeps the call connection active and displays an ongoing call notification with quick actions (Return to Call, End Call) so calls do not disconnect when the user switches apps or locks their screen.
Purpose: Used exclusively to record user-initiated voice notes in chat and stream live microphone audio during active phone calls.
Purpose: Used when the user explicitly chooses to start a video call with their partner, capture in-app photos/snaps, or take a profile picture. Never accessed without user initiation.
Purpose: Delivers incoming call alerts, new message notifications, and romantic notifications from your partner.
Purpose: Enables routing VoIP audio to connected Bluetooth headsets, wireless earbuds, or car audio systems during active calls.
3. Zero-Cloud Storage & Calling Privacy
Unlike traditional social networks, Jodioo was engineered from the ground up for absolute intimacy:
- No Server-Side Chat Backups: Your personal conversations, audio memos, love letters, and shared images reside exclusively on your physical phone and your partner's phone.
- Peer-to-Peer Calling: Voice and video calls are established directly between paired devices via WebRTC. We do not listen to, record, tap, monitor, or store any call content.
- No Advertising or Tracking: We do not sell, rent, monetize, or disclose your personal data to advertisers, marketing brokers, or commercial tracking firms.
4. Third-Party SDKs and Infrastructure
We utilize trusted, enterprise-grade cloud partners strictly for real-time infrastructure:
Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google LLC)
Used solely to dispatch encrypted push notifications and wake-up signals for incoming calls. Governed by Google Privacy Policy.
WebRTC Protocol
An open-source standard enabling encrypted, real-time media transmission directly between phones.
5. Data Retention Policy
We retain data only for the minimum duration required to operate the service:

6. User Rights: Account & Data Deletion
Google Play Account Deletion Requirement Compliance
Under Google Play Developer policy, you have the absolute right to delete your Jodioo account and all personal data associated with it. We provide both an in-app deletion mechanism and an external web-based deletion request form if you have uninstalled the app.
- Open the Jodioo App on your device.
- Go to Profile or Settings screen.
- Tap on Account Settings.
- Tap Delete Account and confirm.
✓ Effect is immediate: Unlinks your couple pairing, wipes local session data, and purges your authentication records from our servers instantly.
If you no longer have access to the app or have already uninstalled it, you can request full account and data deletion via our web portal:

What happens when your account is deleted?
- Your account identifier, phone number, and authentication records are permanently erased from our database.
- Your couple pairing link is dissolved; your partner's device is disconnected from your account.
- All push notification tokens (FCM) are revoked and removed.
- Any pending transit messages are immediately deleted.
- Processing Timeline: In-app deletions happen instantaneously. Email or web portal requests are verified and completed within 30 calendar days.
7. Security & Encryption Standards
All network traffic between the Jodioo client app and our servers is encrypted using modern Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.3 / HTTPS) and secure WebSocket protocols (WSS). Direct audio/video streams use WebRTC DTLS/SRTP encryption. Local database records are protected by operating system sandboxing.
8. Children's Privacy Protection
Jodioo is designed exclusively for adult couples aged 18 and older (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly solicit, collect, or maintain personal information from children under 13 (or under 18). If we learn that a minor has registered an account, we will take immediate steps to terminate the account and purge their data.
